DROP OFF & PICK UP LOCATION

All campers must be dropped off at Glad Tidings PJ on Friday, 11 July for check-in and briefing prior to departure.All campers must be picked up from Glad Tidings PJ on Sunday, 13 July.Campers will not be allowed to join or leave the event at any location other than GTPJ.

camp venue & transport

Canaan Valley is located in Serendah, approximately 1 hour away from Glad Tidings PJ in good traffic conditions.All campers will be travelling to Canaan Valley by bus.

can i choose my roommate?

We offer a "preferred" roommate option in the registration form, and will do our best to accommodate every request.We put much thought and consideration into how to group our campers best to ensure that everyone is included and has a great experience!

are all my meals included?

yes! breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided at the scheduled times according to our camp schedule.You are encouraged to bring your own snacks as well!

is my registration refundable?

registrations that have been finalised are non-refundable. however, if you are unable to make it to camp, you may sell your registration to the next person on the waiting list.please contact our camp committee should you require assistance with this.

WHAT DO I BRING?

- Bible
- Notebook + Stationery (for note-taking)
- Sufficient clothes for the weekend (at least 4 sets of clothing)
- Dark-coloured Sportswear (for team building)
- Shoes for team building
- Slippers/Sandals
- Sweater
- Swimwear

- Bug repellent

what am i not allowed to bring to camp?

- Excessive cash and valuables
- Gaming devices, laptops etc.
- Speedos & bikinis
- Revealing clothes (mini-skirt, singlet, spaghetti strap, hot pants etc)
The organising committee will not be responsible for items lost at youth camp.

safety measures

chaperones will be present for the duration of the youth camp. Chaperones are tasked to ensure that our campers are included and taken care of, and are abiding to the camp rules.all campers will need to remain on-site for the duration of youth camp.First aid will be available, should any need arise.Each camper will be given a name tag / lanyard upon check-in. This will include emergency contact numbers should they be required during camp.

health GUidelines

To do our very best to ensure the health and safety of our campers:
- Participants are PROHIBITED from attending youth camp if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness, such as flu, cough, or sore throat, regardless of the results of a COVID self-test.
- If a participant falls sick during the camp or tests positive for COVID, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately to arrange for their prompt pickup from the campsite.
- roommates of the affected individual will be required to wear masks for the remainder of the camp, except when they are in their own rooms.


U18 forms

Campers under the age of 18 are required to submit a parental / guardian consent form to complete their registration.please download the form and upload it with your registration payment screenshot [ link in your email ]
